“The structured NIST framing Salma applies to Silent AI exposure is exactly the kind of rigor carriers and regulators will need to see. Her emphasis on deterministic verification loops is the only way carriers will trust AI-native risk profiles rather than treating them as marketing language.”
Validated by the Legal Community
What managing partners, legal quants, and compliance experts say about our technical risk architecture, and the team behind it.
“A very useful tool. I like that it quickly handles the existence verification step (Layer 1) without adding AI risk on top. Perfect complement for catching obvious hallucinations before investing time in misgrounding checks. Appreciate you building this, tools like yours are exactly what the profession needs right now.”
“I am convinced that a deterministic spine is essential for law firms leveraging generative AI, which is why ICME’s Preflight technology is such a natural fit within Rule26 AI’s architecture.”
Core Leadership & Foundations
Salma Saad
Founder & Principal
Salma brings more than thirty years of enterprise software engineering and formal verification methods to high-stakes legal environments. With a director-level background spanning healthcare and finance, she founded Rule26 AI to give litigation teams the deterministic verification infrastructure that generative AI cannot provide on its own. She designs the verification architectures and sovereign perimeters that safeguard firms against AI failure modes and document compliance for courts, insurers, and regulators. Salma leads all technical system reviews, risk audits, and infrastructure verification work.
Community Initiative, Youth for Responsible AI (YFRAI)
Young people will inherit the downstream consequences of autonomous systems, yet they have the least agency in the decisions governing them. This is why we established Youth for Responsible AI (YFRAI). Spearheaded from its inception by Fatima Hussain, this community initiative has met an overwhelming global response, drawing hundreds of applications daily. As we prepare to launch our highly competitive Summer 2026 cohort, we are excited to equip these next-generation leaders with the technical and framework literacy required to shape responsible AI policy.

Fatima Hussain
Director of Research & Governance Strategy
Fatima works at the intersection of AI systems, governance, and institutional risk, connecting governance framework requirements to litigation workflows. Drawing on a background in Political Science and Management Information Systems, she maps how AI tools are actually used to the duties and disclosure obligations firms must document and defend, and identifies the gaps where technical systems fall short of regulatory expectations.
Fatima leads research connecting AI and privacy frameworks to real‑world litigation and governance questions.
Technical Infrastructure Partner, ICME Labs
The team behind ICME Labs are leaders in law, tech, and cryptography with published peer-reviewed articles, affiliations with Stanford and Imperial College London, Congressional testimonies, and decades of legal practice experience.
