- **Does GhostCite use generative AI?** Not for verification. Optional CourtListener semantic search uses embeddings to find cases by meaning, not to draft text.

- **Does professional liability insurance cover legal AI mistakes?** Many E&O and CGL policies do not cover third-party AI liability without endorsement. ISO endorsements CG 40 47 and CG 40 48 can exclude AI-related claims on renewal. Firms without auditable AI governance may self-insure malpractice and sanctions risk.
